Day 1 Srinagar:
Arrive Srinagar, you will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred to your house boat. This place is famous for its lakes and the charming houseboats floating on them, Srinagar is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a Shikararide on Dal Lake. The lake comprises a series of water bodies, including the Nagin Lake. One can take in the panoramic view of the mountainssurrounding Srinagar from this lake. Kashmiri boats called Shikara’s are used to explore the intricate maze of waterways on this lake. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 2 Srinagar:
This morning after breakfast proceed for full-day tour of Srinagar. Visit the famed Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens and Chashmeshahi Gardens. These well laid out terraced gardens, replete with cascading fountains and beautiful flowering shrubs and trees, were built for the relaxation of the Mughal Emperor and his queens. Proceed to the Hazratbal Mosque, an important Muslim religious place, with its pristine white marble elegance reflected in the waters of Dal Lake. Hazratbal's special significance is derived from the fact that it houses a hair of the prophet Muhammad. This is displayed to the public on religious occasions. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 3 Pahalgam:
This morning after breakfast proceed to Pahalgam (94 kms / 3 hrs 30 minutes drive approximately). On Arrival check in at the hotel. This paradise is located on the banks of the Lidder River, and is known as the ‘Valley of the Shepherds’. Beautiful pine forests, snow clad mountains and undulating green meadows characterize Pahalgam, making it a truly idyllic destination. It has been used as a locale for many movies due to its pristine beauty. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pahalgam.
Day 4 Gulmarg:
This morning after breakfast proceed to Gulmarg (one way 152 kms / 5.30 hrs drive approximately). On Arrival check in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jahangir. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an attitude of 2680 meters above sea level, and is the country's prime ski resort in the winter. The journey to Gulmarg is enchanting… roads bordered by of poplar trees and flat expanses of rice fields interspersed with picturesque villages. After Tang Marg, the climb to Gulmarg begins through fir covered hillsides. Gulmarg is, as its evocative name suggests, a flower strewn meadow. In the shape of a bowl, its length is 3.5km and its width 1Km. Its undulating expanse comprises grassy slopes for the most part, with a small scattering of houses. The bowl is encircled by fir-clad hills, and in the distance, snow dusted peaks; because of its altitude, its 11km Circular Road offers a magnificent view of much of Kashmir Valley. Day 5 : Srinagar :
This morning after breakfast proceed to enjoy the Gandola Cable Car Ride up to phase 1 (Kong door). Later drive back to Sri Nagar. (one way 58 kms / 2 hrs drive approximately). On arrival check in at House Boat. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 6 Srinagar:
This morning after breakfast proceed for full day excursion to Sonmarg (one way 76 kms / 2 hrs 30 minutes drive approximately). The drive to Sonamarg takes you through some spectacular countryside in the Sindh Valley, which is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. It has beautiful deep rock-cut gorges and open grassy meadowlands. Sonmarg, which means 'meadow of gold' has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh river meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer. Return to Srinagar. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 7 Onwards:
This morning after breakfast proceed to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
