It is a veritable oasis compared to the modern nature of other Asian capitals. With wide tree-lined boulevards and low-rise buildings, Phnom Penh still reflects the colonial days of this former French playground. Many French colonial buildings are still in evidence today and add to the charm and ambience of the city.
Visit to the Royal Palace, the National Museum and Wat Phnom (Private).
This afternoon, visit the Royal Palace. This palace dates back to 1866 and houses the Silver Pagoda, named for theover 5000 heavy silver tiles that cover its floors. Continue to the National Museum that was built in 1917 in traditionalKhmer style and was inaugurated in 1920 by King Sisowat. The National Museum houses the world's foremostcollection of ancient Khmer archaeological, religious, and artistic from the 4th to the 13th centuries. There are over5,000 pieces on display, constituting the repository of the Kingdom's cultural wealth. Later, proceed to Wat Phnom,the founding place of the city and a hilltop pagoda. You can also shop for trinkets at the famous Central market. Afterthe tour, return back to the Hotel.
Day 02 Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Enter by themonumental South Gate, continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper Kings. Watch thesunset over the Cambodian Countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian Temple.The rest of the day is at leisure.You may discover Siem Reap on a stroll through its beautiful pagodas and the colourful market on your own.
